Ubuntu 17.10 versioni 32bit

Ubuntu 17.10 non avrà le ISO a 32-bit (ma gli aggiornamenti ci saranno regolarmente)

Canonical non rilascerà le ISO di Ubuntu 17.10 a 32-bit. Questo è quanto è stato annunciato ieri da Dimitri John Ledkov di Canonical che ha indicato al team incaricato del rilascio delle daily di Ubuntu di sospendere la pubblicazione delle daily di Ubuntu Desktop i386
Dear Release team,
Please action the below and remove Ubuntu Desktop i386 daily-live
images from the release manifest for Beta and Final milestones of
17.10 and therefore do not ship ubuntu-desktop-i386.iso artifact for
17.10.
As a followup to this thread it has been confirmed that argumentation
below is sound, and furthermore there is no longer any effective qa or
testing of the desktop product on actual i386 hardware (explicitly non
x86_64 CPUs).
There are no other changes requested to d-i, mini.iso, archive, or the
upgrade paths.

nonché delle ISO della versione Beta e di quella finale di Ubuntu 17.10.
La decisione è stata presa perché attualmente non vengono più controlli di qualità e test di Ubuntu i386 su hardware a 32-bit.
Questa modifica non impatterà sulle mini.iso, sui pacchetti presenti nei repository di Ubuntu e sul sistema di aggiornamento di Ubuntu che continueranno a supportare i sistemi a 32-bit quindi se avete installato Ubuntu 17.04 a 32-bit e desiderate aggiornare il sistema alla 17.10 potrete farlo tranquillamente.
